Why you never called for an interview at the job?

23:42

Great ability to have written a very bad resume and cover letter for a job ...

While of 380,000 unemployed Croats, at least half actively seeking a new job, and half of these, perhaps 20 percent of them has a good and well written resumes and job applications, 30 percent should work on them, and the rest is so badly worded, improperly written, grammatically correct and incorrect, that potential employers can only good laugh when they read. It is known that an application for a specific job and resume glance employer to you alone, before you is called for an interview, meet in person and talk to you. The "sea" of unemployed your resume must be well worded, readable, clear, and your strengths and abilities must be clearly noticed.Unfortunately, no matter how many tips some people read, re-doing the same mistakes. Here are the worst by us and for which almost certainly will never be not invited for an interview.

Grammar and spelling mistakes They happen to everyone, but should not be, nor in any case happen in your CV. Not one! After you write your resume and cover letter for a job, leave them to "settle down", at least an hour or two and re-read them carefully. If you are not sure of their autoworker and proofreading, give a person to carefully read the resume. Ask for feedback from a person who has experience in this regard. Print resume on paper, because that way you will easily see your mistakes, and possibly wrong alignment margins, line spacing, in bold, uppercase and lowercase letters and similar errors, which are not so obvious on the computer screen.

Customize your resume for the job you are applying for

Generic CVs today simply do not pass, because employers see them from the moon. This is especially true for the better paid jobs, even today, and for the lower paid and not so popular professions should try. So, if you are applying for instance ware houseman, in your CV to highlight that the qualifications and experience will come in handy in the business, and job applications briefly write why you would like to work exactly in this company as a warehouseman. The same applies for the job shop assistant, Head of Marketing, TV Hosts! General applications and CVs never go well.

Send resumes in the correct format
At the time of e-mail, most of the communication, including sending a CV and application sends precisely that way. This could be a very easy task, but some people choose to send their application and CV in strange inappropriate formats that are not appropriate for writing texts such as biographies, or opening (if you need a special application to open), and quick view and eventual printing. Send resumes in attachments, which are properly named and written in standard application for creating documents such as Open Office or MS Office (Word) and similar applications. Do not send them directly written in the email, because if in your e-mail interface looks good, does not mean it will be the site of the recipient. In addition attached to sent a resume seems more appropriate. Keep up the standards and simplicity. If the employer asks to CVs and applications sent by e-mail, do it. Do not send a resume by mail, or in any other way. And vice versa.

CV needs to be professional

and asking your resume should look professional, therefore, it is best that has been written on a white background with black letters. CVs in different colors seem frivolous and unprofessional. Avoid Using the characters, such as smilies, different animation, photography, writing different "deep" philosophical or radiotelegraphs messages, writing sad personal life stories ... Please do not submit photos of yourself, if that you explicitly requests. Also, the photos you send should be professional in every sense of the word. In fact, many tend to take pictures of themselves in the departments, dignified poses and the like, and their background is a mess (scattered clothing, shoes, old cabinets and the like.) So, the most important is a professional, serious and personalized impression! If you have submitted hundreds of applications and received only a few or zero calls for job interviews, consider what the problem is. Maybe it's time to change your resume. Write us your experiences!
